While innocent minority groups suffer the wrath of the right wing press, the minority
groups
we should be worried about, business and government, operate unimpeded.
Perhaps if we started to think more in the language of the oppressor and with
their
own propaganda techniques, we could start to see things a bit clearer. Maybe if we
saw all tax relief as dole money, we would start to see most business tax allowance
as dole fraud and welfare for the rich. Maybe if we concentrated on the
8 billion or
so British business owes, in corporate tax, we would understand why
our
government
spends so much time blaming the poor, stateless and destitute for our problems.
And
maybe if we understood the G8 as the next phase in the west's reign of terror, we would
never have let this group near our shores.
