Profiling the population for business
In a dying econoic system even the most vulnerable are at the mercy of market forces that will stop at nothing to gain all that we have, under the pretence of protecting us.
Data-base for kids. The Government wants to spend who knows how many millions on a data-base to determine if your child has criminal tendencies. (unless of course your a child of a rich person - therefore you'll be excluded)
And for the grown ups we have ID cards. (to check out if you have terrorist tendencies no doubt) So who are the criminals here.
The fact that rich people and celebrities will be excluded, should give you a clue. (do you think Tony Blair wants his kids information on an insecure data-base, that could be hacked or stolen by criminal tendencies. You bet he's not. So why should you or your kids be on one?
Forget about criminals and terrorists for a minute and think about big business. Imagine a big public relations outfit working for a corporation, getting a hold of information on you and your children. (even babies in the womb) These people would know everything about you; your job, your bank details, your habits, the condition of your health, your education, your religion, your weakness for what you spend your money on, your political affiliations. (this is just the start) Think how easy it would be to sell you things - Oh, your not a consumers - What happens when they start to aim the marketing at your kids. The schools they go to, the friends they have, what they spend their pocket-money on...
The Questions we need to ask are.
Why does the government spend so much time and money terrorizing us about terrorists and doing almost nothing about the terror of insecurity in our communities. Destroying the national health service, destroying community schools, destroying council housing, destroying our green space, destroying our environment. destroying the public commons, destroying the reassurance of the community bond, destroying our trust and confidence in each other - and replacing it with private insurance plans, property investment, gated communities and war.
How come rich people won't be on the data-Base. Rich people are terrorists to. Look at Osama Bin Laden, he's rich. "If you have nothing to hide then you have nothing to worry about" Yeah right. The rich have plenty to worry about. What a wonderful data-base that would be. Arms dealers, insurance cabals, company directors. In fact there was a directory available of UK company directors. The bosses of M&S and people like that, but it was made illegal. OK for Joe Bloggs to have his details misappropriated, but when you start to get details of those at the top - the public are in danger of getting information on those at the root of most of their problems.
These data-bases are not to protect our children. We need to protect our children, by giving them time, understanding and making them aware of the encroaching markets that are out to destroy their childhood by selling them sugar, alcohol, useless products and distractions.
We are being sold "Chocolate Toothpaste" that makes our teeth sparkle in the propaganda spotlight, while the rot to our roots underneath, continues, unabated.
The people who create all the terrorism know how to stop it, their not stupid. Terrorism is their bread and butter. Thats what they use to distract us. Data bases don't stop terrorism or people being crooks. Data bases are used to collect information that public relations industries can use to create marketing stratigies in order to sell us crap.
The more crap we buy - the more terror is created. Help to aleviate terrorism, stop buying crap.
