The Riff-raff-User-Manual
An idea in the pipeline

There are many community achievements and successes that can be pointed at. Things that we forget, that are never recorded and ideas that are on the go that need exposure in order to encourage and give hope to others, the idea, that there is more to life than rote slavery, television and unemployment.

Wouldn't it be nice to have a booklet that told you interesting things about the communities in your city. Which could include:

Maybe you wanted to know if there was something that would interest you, what was happening, where to go to find it.

Maybe a collection of ideas and topics for community activity that would inspire or give some encouragement towards getting people involved.

Highlighting one person, or group activities that are already on the go.

Maybe you have some of these ideas, or know of projects, interesting facts, historical topics about your community you think people should know about and should be included in a publication.

There are a tonne of glossy booklets telling people where the tourist should go, art galleries, shops, and so on. But is there anything to inform Glaswegian's and visitors about real thing that are happening, with an emphasis on working people and their environment.
