One of the aims of the learn section is to is the idea of looking at
things from a different angle. To look at the world from a different
perspective. We are continually getting things drummed into us from
school, television, newspapers, politics and in the workplace about
how things are and why they need to be as they are.
There are many tricks, statistics, blaming, bias samples, hoodwinking
and techniques of persuasion used to fool and cajole people into believing
that others are looking after their interests, or, know better. Here
is a few examples. And there are many publications, libraries and web
sites that offer an alternative view. But in the end the best defense
of protecting your interests is common sense. Not believing me or anyone
else but holding the evidence of worth up to your own scrutiny
